While I was looking around on the internet for inspiration, I found myself eventually looking at furniture. No suprise there. I find, much of my joy, and inspiration comes from the many ways wood can be painted, stained, formed, glued, cut, and generally manipulated. While looking around, I found many things of note.
One is the new blog in my blog-roll. It is called "Cliff Spencer Furniture Maker's Blog". This blog features a lot of cool furniture designers and gerneral wood workers. I have to say I'm quite impressed with quite a bit of what Cliff (I suppose) has found. However, even more interesting (at least for this post) is a company that I found thru Cliff Spencer's blog. They're called "Real Door Inc".
The interesting thing about this company is, they don't just make doors... They make DOORS! These things are very unique. They also make furniture and architectural objects. Nothing that I can say though, can really do their work justice. So, you really need to go check them out.
